Our Japanese language courses are designed with the student in mind. From a first-timer, to an advanced student, all classes are created to maximize the student’s time by comprehensive lessons, and a no-nonsense approach to the Japanese language. But we also offer fun outings, and opportunities to learn more about the Japanese culture. Tea Ceremonies, Japanese Karaoke, Dining experiences and more, give the student a chance to experience Japan from the inside!

I've been studying Japanese at AOBA Language Centre for about a year. The teachers here are friendly and their innovative teaching methods make our Japanese lessons very interesting and easy to understand.
In addition, our teachers are very enthusiastic in sharing their knowledge of Japanese culture with us. I hope that I can have the opportunity to experience these personally by visiting Japan.
Unfortunately, there are not many opportunities where I can practice my Japanese, except once a week during class. I can now speak basic Japanese but I plan to continue my Japanese learning so that I can become more fluent in the language.

I started my Japanese study with AOBA Language Centre since January 2007. The teachers are very friendly. Even the teachers speaks only Japanese in the class, I was amazed that all of us could understand the explanations. The teaching method was really effective! The classes were interesting and I always look forward to the next class.
Furthermore, AOBA regularly organizes gatherings with Japanese who has come to Singapore to study or work. These are some of the rare chances which we can practise our Japanese and exchange our different cultures.

I am currently pursuing Business Japanese 2A with Aoba Language Centre. This course is indeed very beneficial as I am required to use Japanese at work and I have seen an improvement in my proficiency.
Emphasis is placed on business conversations, and using keigo in various scenarios.
The sensei is very patient and is always willing to answer queries the students might have.
The course also covers business etiquette in a Japanese working environment, and this is something which one would not be able to learn in a normal classroom.
I would definitely recommend this course for people who are considering joining Japanese organizations.
